Funnels

Kitchen funnels are an indispensable tool for storing liquids, as they are incredibly useful for transferring liquids into narrow-mouthed bottles. Depending on the size of the funnel, whether large or small, it allows you to pour liquids of varying viscosity into other containers. In the case of broths, for example, there are often solid pieces of ingredients that could get stuck in a small funnel, so you'll need a wider opening, regardless of how thin the broth is. Similarly, with other liquids like honey and molasses, the wider opening of the funnel allows the thick liquid to flow more easily for storage, as its almost solid consistency slows down the flow in a small opening. However, small funnels are also strategic when dealing with small containers. Pouring oil into an oil cruet or vinegar into a vinegar bottle is a typical example. When storing sugar or salt, you will also need a funnel, perhaps with a larger receptacle to prevent overflow, although these items usually pass through quickly.
