Like-Linen® Collection

What is Like-Linen®?

Like-Linen® is our collection made from a blend of viscose and cellulose, plant-based fibres that provide an experience very similar to textile fabric.

Its softness, drape and strength make it the ideal choice when you are looking for an elegant, sophisticated finish.

Like-Linen® and spunlace material

The Like-Linen® table linen and napkins are made from a material technically known as spunlace, a high-quality nonwoven produced from viscose and cellulose.

Spunlace is made through a process of entangling fibres with high-pressure water jets, without the need for glues or chemical binders. This system creates a material that is especially soft, strong and with a drape very similar to textile fabric.

Thanks to this technology, the Like-Linen® collection delivers a superior table experience: a pleasant feel, excellent wet strength and an elegant appearance that enhances the image of your service.

For this reason, spunlace is widely used in professional applications where quality, comfort and presentation are essential, making it ideal for events, fine dining and high-end service.

Key features

  • Blend of viscose and cellulose
  • Very soft, silky feel
  • High strength, even when wet
  • Excellent absorbency
  • Fabric/linen-like appearance

Frequently asked questions about disposable napkins and tablecloths

What is the difference between Airlaid and conventional paper napkins?

Airlaid napkins are made from dry tissue virgin fibre, which gives them greater thickness, better absorbency and higher strength than conventional paper. They offer a more refined, professional look, especially suited to hospitality.

Are Like-Linen® napkins made of fabric?

No. Like-Linen® napkins and tablecloths are disposable, but they are made from a blend of viscose and cellulose that mimics the texture, drape and softness of textile fabric, with the advantage of requiring no washing or maintenance.

What is spunlace in disposable table linen?

Spunlace is a high-quality nonwoven material produced by entangling viscose and cellulose fibres with high-pressure water jets. In disposable table linen it is used for its softness, strength and fabric-like appearance.

Why is spunlace a good alternative to fabric table linen?

Spunlace table linen offers an elegant presentation and excellent wet strength, without the need for washing or maintenance. It is therefore a practical and efficient alternative to textile table linen for events, catering and services where table presentation is key.

Which option is best for events and celebrations?

For events where table presentation is essential, such as weddings, banquets or premium catering, we recommend Like-Linen®. For high-turnover everyday service, Airlaid is an efficient and cost-effective solution with excellent performance.

Are the products sustainable?

Both collections are made from plant-based fibres. Airlaid uses 100 % virgin cellulose and Like-Linen® combines viscose and cellulose, offering responsible alternatives to traditional textile table linen.

Can I combine napkins and tablecloths from different collections?

Yes. Many professionals combine Airlaid tablecloths with Like-Linen® napkins to balance presentation, performance and budget depending on the type of service.
