The most extensive range of supplies for the hospitality and catering sector
García de Pou is a pioneer specialising in the manufacture of disposable non-food products in Spain, offering the most extensive selection of supplies for the hospitality and catering sector. The company currently boasts a factory floor spanning 22,100 m² and warehouses spanning 55,500 m² in Ordis and Vila-sacra on the Costa Brava – a prime location and logistically-strategic site for supplying European markets.
At García de Pou we manufacture and customise napkins, tablecloths, plates and cups, paper bags, hamburger wrappers, and cardboard packaging for takeaway food, among others. We also sell products for table service, bar and buffet, kitchens and storage, hygiene and protection, and guest amenities to cover the everyday needs of the HORECA sector.
More than 6,000 products
Our annual product catalogue gathers together approximately 6,000 items across over 400 pages.
The core part of our catalogue is formed of disposable items, however it also features more long-lasting products, such as bartending tools, tableware for buffets and kitchen utensils.
At our facilities we produce approximately half of the products that we sell, importing the rest to offer a comprehensive service to our customers. We continuously improve our processes so that in each catalogue we can offer items manufactured with more sustainable, recyclable and biodegradable raw materials.
Building trust since 1884
In 1884 Luis García opened a paper bag workshop and print shop together with his wife, Francisca de Pou, in Figueres, where he had been posted a few years earlier to run the town’s first railway station. It was there that the entrepreneurial spirit of the García de Pou family began to take shape, the same spirit that has been passed down across five generations and that still remains to this day.
It was Luis García, the fourth generation of the family and current managing director, who made the decision to gear the company towards the HORECA market. From then on, García de Pou has specialised in the manufacture and sale of disposable products meeting the everyday needs of hotels, restaurants, cafés and event companies.
In 1974 the company relocated to Vila-sacra.
In 1986 the family company started a new adventure: exporting. To begin with, it sold goods to neighbouring countries such as France and Portugal, however, over the years, García de Pou has consolidated markets in 60 countries.
In 2002 García de Pou opened its current factory in Ordis, a prime location and logistically-strategic site for supplying southern European markets.
Today, García de Pou has 22,100 m² of industrial facilities, 55,500 m² of warehouse and 10,500 m² of Cash & Carry and branches in Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga and the Canary Islands.
Manufacturers of disposable products
With a company structure formed of 400 employees, we attend to over 25,000 clients, among them Costa Cruceros, Metro, Pomona, Retif, Vega, Bunzl and GM Foods.
Exports represent 57% of company turnover. We export to France, Portugal, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Morocco and the Caribbean.
Our permanent stock policy guarantees immediate provisioning for customers. We also have 10,500 m² of retail outlets in Madrid, Barcelona and Tenerife.

One of the main advantages and areas of specialism of García De Pou is custom design. We produce customised products displaying the corporate branding of numerous clients.

Graphic design and development is carried out in-house. We offer maximum guarantees throughout the whole creation and manufacturing process, since we do not outsource any stage of production.
