Offering biodegradable packaging for food has become a branding attribute that really does makes a business differ from it’s competition. In Garcia de Pou, we’re turning green to help businesses whose brand value is sustainability and respect for the environment.
Packaging made of sugar-cane, plates made of palm leaf and packagings made of cardboard will become trendy in festivals, fairs and markets this spring – summer.
Pages 12 to 14: BIONIC. Making something useful from sugar-cane left overs.
The BIONIC line will surprise you. It’s a complete scale of disposable containers, resistant to hot oil, suitable for microwaves and freezing and also compostable and biodegradable. They perfectly match our wooden silverware. Those with lids can be piled up, so a higher number of portions can be ready to sell simultaneously.
We’ve also introduced lids for glasses made of bagasse for those clients who want to avoid plastic in any form.
Page 15: ARECA. Palm leaf plates that will earn your client’s love.
Exotic, elegant, reusable and made from disused palm leaves. They are totally biodegradable within a few weeks and do not leave any toxic residue. Their soft rounded shapes and light wood colour give a rustic chic touch to your service.
Pages 26-28: COMBO. Healthy food in non pollutant packaging.
In a user’s mind, our new line COMBO creates the association with sustainable food, thanks to its original kraft colour. They are coated inside to prevent grease and moisture from food deteriorating the resistance of the packaging and leaving annoying stains.
From now on, articles made from recycled cardboard will be a permanent fixture, and we will present them in all possible formats: open containers, burger boxes, water tight American boxes, fried food containers, panini boxes, lunch boxes… Some of them can be customised, just bear in mind the brown color of the pasteboard when designing the application of your brand on them.
Page 11: TIMES. Kraft cardboard bags that inspire stories.
We are indeed very fond of the kraft colour, so we also offer it printed in our “vintage” TIMES pattern, inspired by last century’s newspapers, that evoke old stories. The TIMES range includes wraps for hamburgers, multipurpose wraps, greaseproof wraps and bags with handles.
Pages 17 and 27: FEEL GREEN. Cardboard containers and tubs for ice-creams.
FEEL GREEN, is our “green” line made from recycled pasteboard and presented in its original colour with a refreshing printed pattern of bamboo sheets. The “Feel Green” family produces ice-cream tubs, cups for fried food, open containers and double walled cups for warm drinks. This family just keeps on growing…
